We are working with our B2B rep at Apple to try to get a leg up on the 3G iPhone release. We will not get a discount on 3G iPhones like we do with other Apple products, but there is a chance that we can pre-order the devices for shipment on the release date. As is usually the case, Apple is keeping everyone in the dark on the release details (including the retail store employees). However, our B2B rep will be sure to contact me when she knows more.
