TimeWarner Puts Off Bandwidth Cost Restructuring

If you haven't heard already, TimeWarner was in talks of a new price-plan for their broadband internet. Lucky thanks to the outrage of many (and rightly so), TimeWarner has decided to put their bandwidth caps on hold for now according to this article.

Bandwidth caps that TimeWarner were looking at would only hurt the progression of technology on the internet. People who used their internet a lot were possibly facing huge price increases and people who barely used their internet were looking at saving a few bucks. Overall, more people probably would be punished than helped and it would greatly discourage people from doing things like streaming Netflix to their TV or computer.

If anything, cable companies need to increase bandwidth speeds and increase their bandwidth caps!
