Want a 3G iPhone?

We are working with our B2B rep at Apple to try to get a leg up on the 3G iPhone release. We will not get a discount on 3G iPhones like we do with other Apple products, but there is a chance that we can pre-order the devices for shipment on the release date. As is usually the case, Apple is keeping everyone in the dark on the release details (including the retail store employees). However, our B2B rep will be sure to contact me when she knows more. Mobility in the Workplace - Who Foots the Bill?

This article in today's USA today points out something we face. You need mobility to get the job done, but your employer does not foot the bill. Sure we give you a laptop, but what about cell phones? I'm pushing for some kind of solution and policy for 2009 (a little behind the times), but it's good to know we aren't the only ones. Read more.
